Friend

A friend is someone we turn to
when our spirits need a lift.
A friend is someone we treasure
for our friendship is a gift.
A friend is someone who fills our lives
with beauty, joy and grace.
And makes the whole world we live in
a better and happier place.
Friendship is the bond YOU and I share.
This post is dedicated to my closest friend of life!!Thanks a lot my dear friend for being with me during all the good and bad times of mine!!

Back in Bengaluru!!

Hurray....!!!! Am back in the Garden City of India...Namma Bengaluru. I was really excited before I reached Bengaluru, just because it had been around 1.5years since I was out of this place. Ofcourse there were small small visits during this tenure. But I never got a chance to experience the so called great crowd/traffic of Bengaluru.

My first day experience itself was bad. I reached Yeshwanthapur station from my strenuous journey from Pune by train at 8.30AM on a Sunday morning. I was supposed to go to the Guest House which I had booked before coming here. So my journey started from here.... passing through Malleshwaram, Sheshadripuram areas, the City Taxi headed towards my Guest House. There was huge (for a Sunday) traffic jams every now and then and atlast I reached the GH by 10AM... Already my journey was tiring and this small journey from Yeshwanthapur to BTM Layout made me feel more tired due to the great traffic jams and pollution in the city. The main intention of explaining all these is to mention about the bad traffic and how the city has polluted.

I lived in Pune in a very calm area where the traffic and pollution was relatively less compared to Namma Bengaluru. And now a sudden change in my life style is making me very difficult to adjust this place. I always wanted to come back to Bengaluru just because of my family and friends... but once am here, I am now feeling that Pune was a better place to live.

Lets see how it goes... hoping to get adjusted to this heavy traffic jams, traveling in Hosur Road in the company bus, etc, etc.... But yeah... there is life here in Bengaluru, I have my nearer and dearer ones.. I have my hometown to go whenever I feel like... Hope my stay will be exciting and interesting here.... :)

Here it is... Trip to Mulshi

One fine day, myself and Santhu thought that we shouldn’t be wasting our time sitting home lazily watching TV… and then we decided to go to this place called Mulshi… We decided on Saturday that we will leave as early as 5.30AM to see the sun rise (that too during Rainy season in Pune … hehehe) and will be back by noon. As usual next day morning when Santhu woke me up, me the lazy bum didn’t got up and asked him also to go back to sleep… but suddenly something happened to me and I woke up Santhu and we got ready and left on Santhu’s bike…. It was around 6.50AM in the morning we left our place.
This place Mulshi is around 60kms from the place I stay in Pune… Amazingly beautiful place which is surrounded by Sahyadris… Near Chandini Chowk we need to take the extreme right route to reach this place. One bad thing is, till you reach around 55kms you wont get to see the route information. On the way you need to keep asking people on how to go…. We took a break near a bus stop in between when it started raining… we both wore our rain coats and started the journey again!! :) While wearing the raincoat as it started raining heavily, I took this snap…After around 40kms we stopped near a tea shop and had garam garam vada-pav and chai as our breakfast and started heading towards the Mulshi.

This place is a wonderful place which will be worth seeing during the monsoon… The rains had just started in-and-around Pune and had rained very heavily since last 10 days continuously and had recently stopped to a certain extent. Almost every hill had a minimum of 3-4 small small waterfalls. hmm... beauty of Pune during monsoon cannot be explained... it can be just felt...

This is the Mulshi dam, where we are not allowed to enter the vicinity of the dam....but we got to see it from nearby hilltop!!
This was the view that we got on the way to Mulshi...
Overall, the trip was very good... had a wonderful time there... !!

Am back...

Am now back in India, Pune and I feel so comfortable here.
I have got my close friends here, my family and my beloved with whom I can be very free.... :-)
You know, there is a lot of differences in the behavior of our own people who are staying there is US for long time. They become so formal that even with the closest family member, they keep a kind of distance!! I was really taken aback when I saw such a great difference, which I didnt expected!!

Well, lots to write... I will be back sson with lots of interesting stories... till then have patience....

Wonderful Weekend.....

hmm... it had been a wonderful saturday morning..... I woke up pretty early itself and started with chatting with my friend M. M told me that there is a Base Ball match going on in the MS OE ground....... This charged me and got ready phata phat.... :) and was ready in front of M's appartment.

It was women's match between various teams..... Home, Guests and others (dont remember the team name!!!) I was busy taking pictures rather than watching the match....I was a little thrilled to be frank..;) it was a different kinda experience..... the girls who were playing were very young may be around 15-17yrs old, but they looked like very elder than me..... yeah the physique of the people here are like that.... hmm.... good!!

We watched the match for half an hour or so...and then left as M's room mate was leaving to India by noon.....
Overall the day went on well and the weekend too....

Rainy Day.....

I got up as usual by 8:15AM and got ready to go to office yesterday......When I just went out, it was raining.... I felt so happy seeing the rain, I remembered my good old days where we (me and my close friend) used to have lots of fun in rain...... We used to get drenched till we were happy, or eat an ice-cream (raspberry candy) and go for a long walk towards Ratnagiri Bore, our favorite place.....

Those days are gone now... I find none going out without an umbrella, wearing a knee length over coat with a cap on their head.... hmm...lots of things have changed.

It was good that I remembered lots of things of my past childhood days!!
